Ernesto Montoya



I would like to formally introduce the newest but, vet too many. He is hottest rapper in the local hip-hop scene since Big Pun and Fat Joe. To be able to hear him you are blessed. His name is Ernesto "Nesto" Montoya a.k.a. The Texican. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin known for its beer breweries. The city is also known for its sports teams the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. He was introduced to music when he was young ever since then he’s loved music. He started break dancing he started djaying and writing his own songs to industry instrumentals. He grew a passion for Hip-Hop culture. He was inspired by artists like RUN-DMC, RAKIM, WU-TANG CLAN, TUPAC, NATORIOUS B.I.G, N.W.A., TOO SHORT, AND JAY-Z. He entered his first talent show his senior year in high school in which he had the school chanting his words and he won. It was then he realized music was his calling. He started to be known for his carerecter and lyrical flow. He has recorded at numerous studios through out Milwaukee County. They include The Band Center, Ton Of Soul Records, A. State, So Be It, Nitty Gritty Studio, Scummed Out Records, and Big Face Studio. Nesto earned the title "The Boss" for taking charge in a group he formed called Ill Mil Family it consisted of members who grew up together Nesto, Rye, Rome, And C-n-it-all. They became very well known through out Milwaukee. He started performing at local bars and halls. They consist of The Rave, Quarters night club, Mary's On The Corner, Shangri La's Lounge, Club Asian Moon, The Colony, Doctor's Office, Uptown Mo's, Timbuktu's, Paulo's hall, Serb Hall, Shepherd’s, Club Finesse, Club Optix's{Racine}, and Navy Pier{Chicago}. He has reinvented his label to Mafia Music Entertainment, Distribution Down South Connected, and Modeling Agency. He was recently crowned The Mix Tape Champion of Ice Mone's Rumble in the Jungle to certify his stasis in the Hip-Hop scene. He well soon is featured in the Shepherd Express.
