Jessica Rose Price

December Luna Music is a musical project founded by Jessica Rose Price, violist and composer/arranger. Rose has thirteen years of musical experience and exposure, starting with viola lessons from Professor Paul Windt of Muhlenburgh College in Pennsylvania. She received private vocal instruction from Lunda Cornelius, for five years, and was also involved with Pennsylvania Youth Theater in dance and theater training. She graduated from the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School in Pennsylvania and was involved with the Young People's Philharmonic & Moravian College Orchestra; she then went on to be the second chair violist for the Richmond Philharmonic in Virginia.

In the beginning of 2011, Rose was the violist and assistant recording producer of Gypsy Cat Project, a guitar/viola duo who performed in Tucson and Las Vegas. Today she is recording and performing solo, teaching private viola lessons, and creating modern versions of abstract classical music. Rose performs at various nightlife spots, including People's Imports and The Hut, and also through the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance. Her unforgettable electric viola has played with several musicians around Tucson, including Benjamin Hyatt, Dr. Meatpie, Cinder Bridge, Top Dead Center, and DJ Cakes. She is a violist of the Civic Orchestra of Tucson, and is also a Facebook administrator for their orchestra page. Currently Rose is recording her solo album "Petals on Muses," consisting of predominately viola, vocal, guitar, and electronic tracks.
